"The headless body of Vlad Tepes, the real-life 15th-century Wallachian prince notorious for impaling his Ottoman prisoners, is believed to be buried at a monastery in the middle of Snagov Lake, near the planned theme park.

Vlad is thought to have been born in Sighisoara around 1431 to Vlad Dracul or Dragon. The young Vlad was named Dracula -- meaning son of Dracul -- by his father. In Romanian, the word also means the devil"

Whoa. Sounds like the ultimate guy trip, especially if we can drop a fly on that Lake. Count (ha ha!) me in. If I can find a willing redhead I would like to reenact that garden scene from the Coppola version.
Why does Dracula get such a bad rap? Yes, he impaled his victims; but they were invading Ottoman infidels. I think our Special Forces should get the same pass in Afghanistan.

..exactly, Velociman...why the bad rap?.. nothing wrong with defending your territory with Fiery Vengance.. hell, what's a few decapitations between infidels anyway?... been goin' on since the dawn of time..., leave ole Dracul alone, I say... everybody's gotta good side... you just have to look harder with some people...
